Submission Deadline & Formatting Guidelines
The deadline for submission of abstracts is: March 12, 2010, no later than 11:59:59 PM (EST.) To ensure the initial acceptance of your abstract, please adhere to the following formatting guidelines.
1. Abstracts must be single paged.
2. Font: Times New Roman, size 11 or 12.
3. Margins: Left = 1.5 inches, all others = 1 inch.
4. Include complete title in bold.
5. Limit the use of special font effects to "bold," "underline" and "italics.
6. Contact information (e-mail, phone and fax) for the presenting author must be
7. Images not included with the abstract submission may be included in the
PowerPoint Presentation.
8. Provide 2-3 bibliographical references as part of the abstract.
9. State, in the body of your e-mail, your presentation’s format (i.e., Original
research, Case report or Literature review.)
Abstracts will be submitted only in MS Word. Documents created in versions "97" through "2007" will be accepted by e-mail, only at GAARRC2010.rcm@upr.edu.
Allowable Number of Abstract Submissions
There is no limit as to the number of abstracts that a speaker may choose to present, including multiple presentations within a category; however, please note that the appropriate fee applies per abstract submitted. Each abstract submission must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
Disclosure Form
Abstract submissions must be accompanied by the presenter's completed "Disclosure of Relationships" form. Non-compliance with this unwaivable requirement will result in the immediate return of the submitted abstract. The completed, hand-signed form must be returned as a scanned attachment to your e-mail transmission, preferrably in PDF format.

Power Point Presentation
Companion MS PowerPoint presentations are due no later than at the point of conference check in (April 30, 2010) OR earlier, if desired, by e-mail only at GAARRC2010.rcm@upr.edu. At the audiovisual desk, provide a flash drive containing your presentation. The flash drive will be returned to you.
LCD projectors will be available on site.
